The Easiest Homemade Gelato Recipe (No Machine, 3 Flavors!)

Making homemade gelato without a machine is quite easy and can be done with just a few ingredients! Here’s a simple recipe that yields three delicious flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.

Basic Gelato Base

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for vanilla flavor)

Flavor Variations

1. Vanilla Gelato

  • Use the basic gelato base recipe with added vanilla extract.

2. Chocolate Gelato

  • Ingredients:
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Instructions:
    1. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk.
    2. Sift the cocoa powder into the mixture and whisk until smooth and well blend.

3. Strawberry Gelato

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, pureed
  • Instructions:
    1. Blend the strawberries until smooth.
    2. Fold the strawberry puree into the gelato base after combining the cream and condensed milk.
